Four Flagship Students Awarded the FLAS for AY 2023-2024

We are pleased to announce that four of our exceptional Flagship students were awarded the Foreign Language and Area Studies ( FLAS) scholarship for the 2023-2024 Academic Year. Join us in celebrating the achievements of Annika Gulseth, Theodora Moyse-Peck, Yin Qin, and Mackenzie Rice. In addition to the Flagship scholarship, Flagship students have access to other financial resources that support their Arabic language studies, one being the FLAS, and helps them become competitive recipients. 

The FLAS scholarship is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education under Title VI Grant. It is awarded to current students who are learning a modern language, including Arabic. Students can use the scholarship to fund their studies, many of which can also fund their summer program and Capstone year abroad. Other options that students have are the Magellan and Boren scholarships.
