Applying to the Arabic Flagship Capstone

Eligibility for Capstone 

All Capstone applicants must: 

  • Be positive and enthusiastic members of the Arabic Flagship Program
  • Be U.S. citizens, nationals or permanent residents
  • Be undergraduate students enrolled at the University of Arizona with excellent academic records
  • Demonstrate commitment to reaching professional Arabic fluency
  • Have at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA
  • Submit completed program application, including two required essays
  • Submit an instructor’s letter of recommendation to arizona-flagship@email.arizona.edu 

Applications for the 2026 - 2027 Arabic Overseas Flagship Capstone are now closed. If you would like more information on applying to the next 2027 - 2028 Capstone cohort, please email sbs-flagshipoverseas@email.arizona.edu.
