Come join us for an evening of Palestinian embroidery, also known as Tatreez. Together, we will thread the needle of connection between past and present, crafting a vibrant narrative that honors Palestinian history and culture.
Tatreez has been practiced in Palestine and its neighboring countries for over 3,000 years. It combines colorful threads in intricate, region-specific patterns, with motifs that carry deep cultural meaning and often mark important life events.
Workshop participants will learn the art of tatreez and leave with a handmade piece of their own.
