Diane Awdeh is the Associate Director of Operations for the Arizona Arabic Flagship Program, Project GO, and the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) at the School of Middle Eastern and North African Studies at the University of Arizona. In this role, she oversees operations and logistics for federally funded grants that support Arabic language education both domestically and abroad.
Before joining the MENAS team, Ms. Awdeh served as Operations Manager at the American University of Beirut’s Nature Conservation Center (AUB-NCC) for seven years, where she focused on community development, transdisciplinary research, and environmental initiatives. She has a background in History and International Relations and has worked with Syrian refugees in Lebanon as well as various nonprofit organizations.
Ms. Awdeh's professional interests include art, education, entrepreneurship, and organizational development. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Global Leadership and Management at the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University.
