Diane Awdeh
Diane Awdeh is the Associate Director of Operations for the Arizona Arabic Flagship Program, Project GO, and the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) at the School of Middle Eastern and North African Studies at the University of Arizona. In this role, Ms. Awdeh supports the team in managing all operations and logistics related to the grants that make the project implementation and the students learning Arabic possible, domestically and abroad.
Prior to joining the MENAS team, Ms. Awdeh was the Operations Manager at the American University of Beirut – Nature Conservation Center (AUB-NCC) for seven years. Her focus was on community development and transdisciplinary and environmental research. Ms. Awdeh has a background in History and International relations. She has had some experience working with Syrian refugees in Lebanon and working with Non-Profit organizations. Her interests include art, education, entrepreneurialism, and organizational development.
