Connor Murphy

My name is Connor Murphy and I majored in linguistics and Arabic studies. I've always enjoyed studying foreign languages, and wanted to take advantage of that interest by intensely studying one that would open doors for me. Arabic filled that role by not only opening the door to a number of professional opportunities, but also a fascinating array of cultures. I don't regret my choice at all, because of all the unique experiences and perspectives I've gained as a result. The Capstone year in the Flagship program struck me from the beginning as an excellent opportunity to improve my Arabic fluency, experience the culture on the ground, grow personally and professionally, and at the same time have fun exploring a place that was entirely new to me for a whole year.
